By placing an order with Carpinteria Door Co., you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Custom-Made Products

All doors are handcrafted and built to order. Because our products are custom-made, slight variations in wood grain, texture, color, carving details, and finish are natural characteristics of artisan craftsmanship and should not be considered defects.

Quotes and Orders

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Orders are considered confirmed once payment or deposit has been received and production has been scheduled.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all measurements, specifications, design selections, and order details before production begins.

Payments

Production may require a deposit before work begins.

Any remaining balance must be paid according to the terms outlined on your invoice prior to shipment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Production Timelines

Estimated production timelines are provided as a courtesy and may vary based on material availability, project complexity, customization requests, and production volume.

While we make every effort to meet estimated completion dates, timelines are not guaranteed.

Customer Approval

Before shipment, Carpinteria Door Co. will provide photos and/or videos of the completed door for customer review.

Once the customer approves the completed product for shipment, the order is considered accepted as built.

Shipping and Delivery

Doors are shipped through third-party freight carriers.

Customers must inspect shipments upon delivery and report any visible damage immediately.

Any shipping damage must be documented with photographs and reported to Carpinteria Door Co. within 48 hours of delivery.

Natural Materials

Wood is a natural material and may expand, contract, develop checking, knots, grain variations, or other natural characteristics over time due to environmental conditions.

These natural variations are not considered manufacturing defects.

Returns and Refunds

Because all products are custom-made, orders are non-returnable and non-refundable once approved and shipped.

Limitation of Liability

Carpinteria Door Co.'s liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the product.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to installation costs, project delays, labor costs, or lost profits.

Installation

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed by qualified professionals and according to industry standards.

Changes to These Terms

Carpinteria Door Co. reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this website.
