At Carpinteria Door Co., every door is handcrafted and built to order. Because each project is custom-made, production and shipping timelines may vary depending on design complexity, customization requirements, and current production schedules.

Production Times

Estimated production times will be provided at the time of purchase. While we strive to meet all estimated completion dates, custom craftsmanship requires flexibility, and timelines may occasionally vary.

Pre-Shipment Approval

Before your door ships, we will provide photos and videos of the completed door for your review and approval. Once approval has been received, your order will be prepared for shipment.

Freight Shipping

Due to the size and weight of our products, doors are shipped via professional freight carriers. Shipping times vary based on destination and carrier schedules.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring the delivery location is accessible for freight service.

Delivery Inspection

Please inspect your shipment carefully upon delivery before signing the freight carrier's delivery receipt.

If you notice any visible damage to the packaging or product:

  • Note the damage on the delivery receipt.

  • Take photographs of the packaging and door immediately.

  • Notify Carpinteria Door Co. within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to document shipping damage at the time of delivery may affect our ability to assist with freight claims.

Shipping Damage

While we take great care in packaging every door, shipping damage can occasionally occur during transit. In the event of freight-related damage, we will work directly with the customer and carrier to help resolve the issue as efficiently as possible.

Delivery Delays

Once an order has been released to the freight carrier, delivery schedules are controlled by the carrier. Carpinteria Door Co. is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier scheduling, route disruptions, or other factors beyond our control.
